You’re about to have the biggest day of your life – you’re going to marry the one you love! And let’s face it, something is bound to go wrong…so don’t let it ruin your day. This is more of a job for the Maid of Honour, and the Best Man – yes guys, this will be helpful for you too! You, honorary and best people, should make an emergency bag for you respective parties, and here’s some great items to include:

For the Bridal Party:

  • Bobby pins
  • Safety pins
  • Baby wipes – if you get something on your dress, baby wipes are gentle enough to clean your dress without ruining it.
  • Clear nail polish – great for runs in your pantyhose!
  • Needle and thread (white, as well as the colours of your bridesmaids dresses)
  • Make up – mostly mascara and concealer, the things you know you’ll cry off. Lipstick as well!
  • Tape
  • Liquid Band-Aids – don’t want those ugly brown ones in your wedding photos!
  • Deodorant
  • Tissues
  • Hairspray
  • A paper bag to breathe in – just in case you’re the nervous type
  • Advil – stress headaches come, even when you’re happy. Trust me.
  • Breath mints

For the Groom and his Men

  • Deodorant
  • Concealer…maybe. Depends on the groom, but it could really be helpful
  • An extra tie or bowtie
  • Tissue
  • Black tape
  • Safety pins
  • Hair gel
  • Liquid Band-Aids
  • Breath mints
  • Advil
