If you’re still planning on getting married during the Coronavirus, you may need to purchase one extra accessory – Face masks. With the Canadian government recommending that Canadians wear face masks when maintaining social distancing best practices isn’t necessarily possible, we’re seeing a rise in couples adding face masks to their list of must-buys for wedding attire.
Many designers have redirected some of their resources to creating face masks for their wedding clients, including our partner Derks Formals. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite designs to provide you with some wedding-worthy face mask inspiration.
Derks Formals Wedding Masks
When COVID-19 hit, Derks Formals and Derks Uniforms switched some of their resources over to manufacturing masks for both couples getting married and front line workers. Currently, Derks Formals is selling masks for both the bride and groom. You can get them complete with embroidery in “Bride + Groom”, “Mr. + Mrs”, and “Wifey + Hubby”. You can order these in black and white, with embroidery in black, white, or even your wedding colour!
Katie May Bridal Masks
Katie May, an LA-based bridal designer, has created a variety of chic bridal face masks (as well as supplying masks to front-line workers!). Her bridal masks are made in LA and feature two adjustable head straps for comfort and security.
They also make face masks for kids now, so if you have any little ones in your bridal party, make sure to check these out!
Nordyo Linen Monogrammed Masks
You can find almost anything you can think of on Etsy, and face masks are no exception! We love these monogrammed face masks from Etsy Creator Nordyo. You can customize them by choosing both the linen and thread colours, and you can enter up to 3 letters to be monogrammed. These are not only functional, but make a great gift for your bridal party.
Maison de Carine Mr. & Mrs. Masks
Handmade by the talented seamstresses at Carine’s Bridal Atelier, these masks are sewn with thoughtful detail to ensure quality. With both a Mr. and a Mrs. version, these masks are a stylish way to stay cautious and look good.
