What is your favorite first year memory?
It’s hard to choose, but I’d probably say our honeymoon to Venice, Florence and Rome. It was a trip I’ll never forget.
What is the main difference between having a boyfriend and husband?
I think just a new sense of closeness. Dave (my husband) and I have been together for a long time, so marriage doesn’t feel much different than when we were dating, but I think we’ve just gotten even closer.

What is the most important element of your relationship?
Communication is the most important thing in any relationship. Sharing parts of your day, your dreams, long term goals – it’s important to communicate all of this to your partner!
What is the best piece of advice you would give another couple starting out?
Talk to one another, make sure you’re communicating and have an open and honest dialogue. Also, never stop dating. No matter how long you’ve been together, always keep dating and doing special things together.
